-
Of the 5 fardh prayers, the Qunut is only recited at Fajr. So for the other 4 fardh prayers, prostrate immediately after iktidal in the 2nd rakaah.
-
There are 2 rakaahs in Fajr as shown.
-
The Zuhr, Asr & Isha prayers are 4 rakaahs.
-
At the 2nd sitting of the 2nd rakaahs, one say the tashahhud awal (stopping at Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad.) then stand up again. It is sunnah here to elevate your hands up to the ears while saying Allahu-Akbar before folding them. Repeat as per 1st & 2nd rakaah to complete the total of 4 rakaahs. Then complete the final 4th rakaah tashahhud akher as in the 2nd rakaah of Fajr.
-
The Maghrib prayer is 3 rakaah. Do the first two rakaah as the others. Then complete the 3rd rakaah tashahhud akher as above.
Say: Lo! my worship and my sacrifice and my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 6:162

FAJR PRAYER 1. Qiyam - Stand straight and focus your gaze on the place where your forehead will prostrate; Nothing said here. It is offensive to close your eyes while praying.( In Reliance of the Traveller - recommended to utter intention here, before the obligatory (fardh) non-uttered intention during takbiratul ihram.) |
|
|
2.Takbiratul Ihram - (first allahu akbar). As for the timing of the Niat / Intention (not uttered), it should occur while saying Allahu Akbar. This simply means that while saying Allahu Akbar you should be conscious that you are praying fajr (substitute for other times here) and that it is an obligation (fardh). By implication, the non-uttered Niat is in a language you understand. |
|
|
3. Doa Iftitah - Read Doa Iftitah: Followed by Taawwuz, Al Fatihah, and a Quran Surah / Short verses. The minimal valid auditability for saying "Allahu akbar," reciting the Koran, and all invocations (dhikr), is that one can hear them oneself, given normal hearing ands lack of extraneous noise. |
