Allahumma aj'alna mina'l-nasirin wa'l-nashirin li shari'ati sayyidi'l-mursalin fi khayrin wa lutfin wa 'afiyatin!

O Allah! Make us among those who support and spread the shari'a of the chief of Messengers, in goodness, in kindness, and in well-being

(Successful indeed are the believers) [23:1]. : ‘Ten verses have just been revealed to me; whoever practises them will enter the Garden’. He then read: (Successful indeed are the believers) up to the tenth verse’. ”

Simply by saying 'there is no god apart from Allah & Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' By this declaration the believer announces his or her faith in all Allah's messengers, and the scriptures they brought. You can formalise this with the Imam or other Muslim witnesses. It has to be declared in its original arabic form, so a bit of practice with a Muslim person may help.

O Prophet invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and excellent admonition and discuss things with people in the best manner. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Way and He knows best who is rightly guided.(16:125)

The Shahadah - testification of faith to formally become a Muslim.

Ash- ha- du alla - ila - ha illAllah Wa- Ash-ha-du anna Muhammad - ar Rasulul-lah... pronounce it the way it's written.
