Doa For Mother

“And lower your wing humbly for them, with mercy, and pray, "My Lord! Have mercy on them both, the way they nursed me when I was young.” (Bani Israel 17:24)

May Allah ta'ala forgive her and shower her with His mercy.
May Allah ta'ala make her resting a noble one and expand her abode.
May Allah ta'ala wash her with the purest of water and cleanse her of sin and mistakes like a new garment.
O Allah if she was righteous, increase her in reward.
And if she was other than that, then overlook her shortcomings. Ameen.
May her grave be a garden from the gardens of paradise! Ameen.
May we all be entered into Jannah and saved from the Fire, Ameen

How the living may help the dead

Abu Hurayrah radiyAllaahu 'anha narrated that the Prophet sal Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said:
"Oh Allaah! You are her Sustainer, You are her Creator, You provided her with sustenance, guided her to Islam, caused her to die, and You best know her secret and public life. We plead to You on her behalf to forgive her sins." - Aameen

“O our Lord! And forgive me, and my parents, and all the Muslims on the day when the account will be established.” (Ibrahim 14:41)

rab-banagfir liy wa li waaliday-ya

wa lil mu’miniyna yawma yaquumul Hisaab

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَاب

And may Allah s.w.t bless us all - the Muslim Ummah

May Allah swt forgive all her sins, spare her from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of Hellfire. May Allah swt grant her entrance into Paradise by His Infinite Mercy. And may Allah swt bless her family with the patience and strength they need to endure through this difficult time. Ameen, walhamdu lillahi rabill `alameen.

Your Mother in Islam

Obedience and respect towards your mother is a very important duty in Islam and is similar to performing Salaah and keeping fast. To hurt your mother in any way is the second biggest sin and those who commit this evil sin will be harshly punished by Allah in the hereafter or maybe even in this world!
