Four surahs namely Surah Ya-Sin, Surah Sajdah, Surah Waaqiah and Surah Mulk have special properties when recited every night
Surah Ya-Sin

Rasulullah (s.a.w) said: The person who reads Ya-Sin every night, will be pardoned. (Baihaqi)

Rasulullah (s.a.w) said: All things have a heart, the heart of the Quran is Ya-Sin. The person who reads Ya-Sin Allah will record for its reader a thawaab (reward) equal to reading the Quran ten times.
Surah Sajdah
- Sayyidina Jabir (r.a) says that Rasulullah (s.a.w) would not sleep until he would read Alif Lasm Tanzeel-as-sajdah and Tabarakallzai Biyadihil Mulk. (Bukhari, Tirmizi)
Surah Waaqiah
- Sayyidina Abdullah Ibn Masood (r.a) relates that I heard Rasulullah (s.a.w) say: The one who reads Suratual-Waaaqiah every night, poverty will not befall him. (Abu-Yala, Baihaqi)
Surah Mulk
- Rasulullah (s.a.w) said: Verily a surah from the Quran consisting of thirty Aayah interceded for a person until he was pardoned by Allah, and that was Tabarakallazi Biyadihil Mulk. (Tirmizi Haakim) .
- Sayyidina Abu-Hurairah (r.a) narrates that Suratul Mulk will continue interceding on behalf of its reader, until he is pardoned by Allah. (Ibn Hibbabb, Hisnul-Haseen) .
- Rasulullah (s.a.w) said: The Surah of Tabarak is a great protector and deliverer, it protects and frees one from the Azaabul-Qabr (Tirmizi)
Pray that Allah forgives us for all our sins, as He is the Most Merciful. Pray that we live and die with Iman and that Allah enters us into Paradise with out us having to taste his punishment |

Man's Destination: The Qabr
Insha Allah suratus Sajda and suratul Mulk will become instrumental in protecting and saving its reader from the Azaab of the Qabr.The grave is the destination of everyone. Here he will lie all by himself, no near and dear ones to share his agnoy of sorrow, and no light switch to bring illumination to his grave.
There is no escape from this punishment. All of us will have to go through this stage before the day of judgement. Constant remembrance of death will insha Allah cause us to refrain from evil and sin.
We should put more effort into saving ourselves from all of Allah's punishment by continually seeking forgiveness instead of seeking the pleasure of others in this world.
Narrated Anas bin Malik (r.a): The Prophet(s.a.w) used to say:"O Allah! I seek refuge with You from Helplessness, laziness, cowardice and feeble old age; I seek refuge with You from Fitna of life and death and seek refuge with You from the punishment in the grave."(Sahih Al Bukhari, Vol 4, Hadith No 77) |
Benefits of Ayatul Qursi
- Recite at the time of leaving house because 70000 Angels protect person from left, right, front and back and if a person dies before returning he will get 70 Martyrs reward.
- Recite 40 times every day at the time of sunset, person will get reward of 40 Hajj.
- Recite every night at bed, This creates one Angel who will guard the person till morning.
- Recite every time after doing ablution (Wudhu) this will raise person 40 times in rank from each word.
- Recite every time after returning home because it keeps away poverty
